Möbius celebrates 10th anniversary with new web site!

Ten years is a long time. And in our business, experience counts. The more work we do, the more we learn about our clients' needs and how best to serve them. And that experience is applied each and every day.

We are grateful to the many clients we've worked with over these last 10 years, and we're clear that without them (you!) we would not be enjoying such an unprecedented level of success.

In celebration of our 10th year in business, we've completely redesigned our web site. Whether you're an existing customer or a potential customer, we hope you'll enjoy exploring our site and learning more about what we have to offer.

ClassAction 2.0 Technical Data Sheet

Administration Functions:

1) Add Case
Includes the following fields of information:

  • Record number
  • Company name
  • Press release (browse to the html based press release file, if available - this can be added later using the modify function if necessary)
  • Complaint (browse to the .pdf based complaint file, if available - this can be added later using the modify function if necessary)
  • Expiration date for case registration
  • Choose registration form that will be displayed for this case (default is 3 slightly different forms that you can choose from)
  • Active (displayed on the website) / Inactive (do not display on the web site)
  • Display order (if you want this case to be displayed on the home page, give it a number, if not it will automatically be assigned 0 which means the case will not be displayed on the home page.)

2) Search cases
Search by:

  • Record number
  • Record name
  • Expiration day and/or month and/or year

Results returns record ID, company name, press release file name, complaint file name expiration, what registration form is being used for this case, date on which case was entered into the database, if the case is displayed on the home page, and if so, the order in which the case is displayed on the home page

Furthermore, search results can be sorted by: Record number, company name, expiration day or month or year, order, view inactive records, view only records displayed on home page.

3) Modify/Delete Cases

Deletion of a case also causes the deletion of any associated complaint and/or press release (helps to conserve disk space).

Modify allows you to modify all the values associated with the 'Add Case' function (above).

4) Modify/Delete Registrants

Clicking on Modify/Delete Registrants will take you to a list of all the clients registered for any class action.  In addition, for long lists, there are basic search functions at the top to limit the list to only those you are interested in viewing.  From here you can delete registrants or modify any of their information that was submitted in the initial registration form.  You can also make clients inactive so that they are still in the system but will otherwise not be included in the distribution list for that case. View options are available to view just active clients, just inactive clients, or to view both.

5) Manage Administrator Access

This allows you to add/modify/delete who has access to the administration area.

OPTION: Authorization level feature to assign access to only certain functions depending on an administrator’s authorization level.

6) Manage Distribution Lists

When a new case is entered an email distribution list is created for that case as well that allows you to easily communicate with class members. Whenever a class member registers, their information is also entered in the distribution list for that case.

Distribution List Functions:

Sort lists
You can sort all distribution lists based on class action name and ID.  You can view only active distribution lists, inactive lists or both.  The following fields are displayed for each class action for which a distribution list exists:  ID, Class Action, 1st Reminder (and a notification on whether this notification is due), 2nd Reminder (same as 1st Reminder but notification is made on a later date), Active/Inactive.

Reminders
The system is pre-configured for two automated reminders to the class members. Clicking on 1st or 2nd Reminder will take you to an email form where you can select the subject and the body for the reminder.  There is also a list of current registrants from which you can add or delete email addresses based to whether you want a certain client to receive a reminder.  You can also choose to just save and not send the reminder (for sending at a later time, send to yourself as a test, or save and send the reminder).  You can also uncheck a box to make it appear on the master page as though the reminder was not sent yet.
